Des Moines Time Trials on Sept. 13 (IMBCS)
Join CITA in Des Moines on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009 as we host time trials at the Center and Sycamore Trails — IMBCS races #9 and #5 respectively.
SCHEDULE — Sunday, September 13, 2009
Center Time Trial
8.00am – registration opens at Ashworth Pool
9.00am – first rider starts
Racers will cover the hilly parts of Center in Greenwood Park — leaving the pool parking lot in one-minute intervals for a 7.5-mile loop of classic singletrack.
Sycamore Time Trial
1.00pm – registration opens at NW 66th Ave
2.00pm – first rider starts
Sycamore racers start in one-minute intervals at the trail head off NW 66th by the Johnston Soccer Complex and finish at the confluence of Beaver Creek and the Des Moines River — a 2.6-mile point to point race on a fast double track course with some technical ruts and a little sand. Ample parking is available at the Johnston Soccer Complex ΒΌ mile west of the trailhead on NW 66th.

Is there a way to sign up for the afternoon race only?
