In addition to our top finishers, notable results include Des Moines Park & Rec staff (and their spouses) breaking the seal on the beginner relay category (watch for this in 2010!), 11-year-old Austin Carter finishing the beginner event in less than an hour, Bill and Katherine Fanter finishing first among married relay...

Time for the fourth annual Des Moines Dirty Duathlon. Even if you’re not planning to race, we hope you’ll join to cheer our running and cycling friends to the finish.
If you want to race and haven’t registered yet, you can register at the event. We’ll open registration at 10 a.m. Please show up at least 30 minutes before your race.

Don’t forget that our Des Moines Dirty Duathlon is this Sunday. Join us as a beginner, relay or open participant and you’ll have stories to tell all winter long.
The latest news is that we have changed the course a bit, adding a few hundred yards to each lap on brand new trail (thank you, volunteers!). The trail is so new, in fact, that we don’t have it mapped yet!
