CITA would like to thank all that came out on Saturday to lend a hand in rebuilding a flood and user-ravaged Rollercoaster. Volunteers from CITA, the City of Des Moines, Fort Des Moines, local (and some not-so-local) trail-users put in over 200 hours of work installing bridges, moving dirt and armoring Rollercoaster to provide a more sustainable and enjoyable ride, walk and run through the woods....

Our fall trailwork continues!
Join us Saturday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. as we put the Rollercoaster trail back on its feet again with help from the City of Des Moines and YOU.
We’ll meet at the Ashworth Pool parking lot to review the day’s effort and begin work at 1p.m.
We’ll have all the tools, and you don’t need experience to lend a hand. Just wear sturdy shoes, work gloves...
