CITA is going to move forward on an agreement with the Polk County Conservation Board to assume management of the Sycamore Trail.
There are a lot of details, but — from our perspective — this means:
1. No red tape, only as-needed assistance, from PCCB
2. Rerouting trail as necessary to attain highest ground/best line
3. Narrowing tread/corridor to singletrack as much as possible

I was hoping someone else would post up about Whiterock, but, so far, nobody has. I guess we’re all still recuperating from the weekend.
The rain put a damper on the weekend for sure. We expected a few more than what showed up. Regardless, the ones that did show up had a great weekend. The Garst family was very welcoming. Some locals from town showed up and partied with us. Brother Trucker...
